Access to Work for the self-employed
Access to Work is also open to self-employed disabled people, not only employees. It can help pay for equipment, support workers or travel needed because of your disability.
Benefits and self-employment
Being self-employed can affect Universal Credit and other benefits, including through the Minimum Income Floor in Universal Credit. Get a benefits check before starting, since rules are complex and depend on your circumstances.
