Blue Badge parking scheme
A badge that can let you park closer to your destination. Applications are handled separately in each nation.

Rail Passenger Assist
A UK-wide scheme for booking assistance at the station and on trains, such as help boarding or a ramp.

Shopmobility
Local schemes that loan wheelchairs and scooters for use in town centres and shopping areas.

Community transport
Local, often volunteer-run transport schemes such as dial-a-ride, for people who find it hard to use ordinary public transport.

Access to Work
A grant towards support at work, such as equipment, travel or a support worker, for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions.
Northern Ireland has its own equivalent through the Department for Communities.
