Demonstration content. When my area started the move to Carer Support Payment, I was worried my payments would be interrupted, but Social Security Scotland wrote to me well in advance to explain the transfer.
It helped to keep a copy of my old Carer's Allowance award letter until the switch was fully confirmed, in case there were any queries.
This describes my own transfer experience only; the rollout timeline has varied by area.
